Hi,

I am struggling with trying to communicate with the Danfoss inverters myself.

Did you try out their USB-RS485 converters, and if so, did it work?

My problem so far is that whatever I send I only get \00 in return.

Unfortunately, I did not have time to try it.
I'm Also not sure how port 2 must be terminated.

Did any one MAKE progress in that area?

Has the comlynx protocol state it seems that the data exchanges are based on a HDLC protocol.

I got a comprehensible answer if I send at 19200 b 8N1 the following ping message (broadcasts) :

in HEX "E7 FF 03 00 02 FF FF 00 15 B1 8B 7E"

This has to be done during day time as the inverter is off at night and won't answer!
