I control 30 rooms in a high school, 4 air condition systems, and a burglary alarm system

with lookout.. I have start to study how to convert the values I read from my device into temperatures..

I've downloaded your vi and could you explain me how to use it. That is the problem I want to read the data from a multmeter(the input registers -function 4) that uses a modbus-rtu protocol and a converter USB to RS-485 to comunicate to the computer, but a don't know how to make a VI to get the data. I just need to read the data. I've tried to use the ni modbus library and the DSC library but i don't know how to use it. When I connect the converter it appear in my computer like COM4.
