DSC 8.0 Installation wrong?

my Labview DSC 8.0 installation abort's with Error "The NI_MSDE installation has failed with the following error. The instance name specifid is invalid..."

Why, can anybody help me?

to go further ahead with this issue I need more details from you. Which Version of LabVIEW runs on your System?
Is your DSC module an upgrade or a new installation?
When do you get this error message?
Which operating system do you use? Kind regards Ulrich Möschel

Hi Ullrich,

thanks for your answer. I have called your servicehotline. We have a mix of many editions. We wait of the update (Fall 2006) to clear (?) the problem.
