DPO7104

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi,

Trying to use this subVI from the LabView driver for DPO7104

"tkdpo7k Read (Single Waveform).vi"

There's an error code -1074004013

and the following error message:

tkdpo7k Error Query.vi<ERR>
Instrument reports:
402,"Operation complete"
2244,"Source waveform is not active; CURV?"
410,"Query INTERRUPTED"
0,"No events to report - queue empty"

Can anyone help me to figure out what is goin on? It was working fine before until I had to disconnect the USB cable (GPIB to USB cable) for a moment.

I have tried restarting the scope and the computer. Still no luck.

Thanks

Hi Roxanne,

I am curious if your device is still visable in Measurement & Automation explorer and if you are able to communicate with it using the test panels in MAX.  Also have you tried using the NI IO Trace tool (formerly NI-SPY) to observe the GPIB commands which are being sent and received from the device?  This tool is located under Start>Programs>National Instruments>NI IO Trace.

Also here is a resource for troubleshooting your instrument drivers that may be of some assistance: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/EFBD8C6A3ADC81EA862576AC00720DC8?OpenDocument

Sorry for bumping.

For future users who may encounter the same problem: check if you are selecting the correct channel or if the channel is turned on.
