DOG Series Inclinometer

Hey guys i am started recently with Labview and i got  a Task from my Boss where i must Implement this analog signal Inclinometer(Datasheet are attached) on Labview and make some measurements (X -axis the tilt and y-axis the voltage) and honstley i have not so much idea, so can anyone help me, which ni-modul i should use and maybe i example programm that i can understand it.

I would me so thankful if anyone can help me.

Thank you

You can use a cheap USB600x DAQ device to read those two 0.5-4.5 V signals, generated at (max) 100 Hz sample rate…

You will find a lot of example VIs in the example finder!

i have for example the Ni 9233 module its an analog modul, i used it for the accelerometer and measured the amplitude with the time with it.

So can i use it also for the inclinometer and can you show me which example VI i can use for the test.

Best Regards

Mo

Hi Mo,

that NI9233 is made for IEPE sensors and quite some overkill for your inclinometer. I'm unsure about the current excitation used in this module, as I have not used such a module until now.

Do you have a more "simple" voltage measurement module available?

GerdW

Hi Gerd,

I have the Ni 9201 thats for voltage measurement, can i use it?

And which Example VI you would suggest ?

Best regards

Hi Mo,

yes, you can use a NI9201 module.

Look up DAQmx example VIs, start with the easier ones (about continuously measuring a voltage signal)…

Best regards,
GerdW
