DECnet and LabVIEW

I am interested in communicating with devices via the DECnet protocol.  Is there any way to send and receive raw network packets with LabVIEW?

Yikes!

Check with HP(bought Compaq that bought DEC) or Black Box to see if they seel a DECnet to TCP/IP bridge for the easiest fastest solution.

Search this site for "sniffer".

There is a link somewhere thatlets use sniff using LV. I seem to remeber it was for LV 8 and above.

Thanks Ben,

I figured that at the very least I could write a winpcap dll to sniff DECnet traffic, but that would not solve the problem of sending packets.

I did not consider a hardware solution.  Perhaps there is some sort of router that can encapsulate raw packets and send them via tcp or udp.
