DDE and e-mail in LabView

Hi!
Maybe someone did this...
how could be send and receive e-mail over LabView with DDE ?
I work at Win98 with LV51 and don't have Internet toolkit... 😞
could anyone help me ?

There is a mail-sending VI in the info-labview archive; it's quite crude and
may need some slight modification to suit your purposes (last time I looked
it tried to send directly to the destination machine, which isn't guaranteed
to work).

SMTP is a pretty simple protocol and it's fairly trivial to write a naive
mail sender- you certainly don't need the internet toolkit.
