DAQmx Start Task.vi: Error -200587

Hi, is there anyway of knowing what is the unnamed task code means? I'm getting different codes.

See below underlined,

DAQmx Start Task.vi:1<append>
<B>Device: </B> PneumaticIO

<B>Task Name: </B>_unnamedTask<BC5D7>

 

AQmx Start Task.vi:5<append>
<B>Device: </B> PneumaticIO

<B>Task Name: </B>_unnamedTask<C18F7>

Hi Martin,

 

what kind of device are you using? 

 

I noticed the following KB : http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/5664C009DA244727862571E900046775

 

So it looks like the channels you are using are already in use. Can you try to use MAX for these channels, can you use the same channels then? After resetting the device?

If your code is giving you an error, don't you think we'd be able to help you better if you posted your code?  Please reply, and attach the VI(s) that exhibit the error.  It might be as simple as a missing wire (but probably isn't) ...

Sounds like you are not clearing your tasks when you are done with them.  This would be an issue if you tried to create the task again.
