DAQ board DIO port "Names"?

Hi,

Have a quick question,

I am using the Easy Digital I/O vi "Dig Line" to send a TTL hi level out of
my DAQ board (PCIMIO16E4) to turn an amp on/off.

for the "digital channel" parameter, how do you tell LabView to use say DIO1
off of the board? Is it "DIO1" or 17 (the pin number) or something
completely different?

Thanks for the help,

Steve Petras

Are you using NI-DAQ to configure channels? If so, you can give this
channel a name and refer to it using Group Config.VI in your program.
The only drawback to this is that no handshaking is allowed, but your
application doesn't sound like you need it.
