DAQ assistant

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi

I am not able to open the DAQ assistant in labview.  I am using Labview 7.1 and IN-DAQmx 8.9.5.

I have read the forums and tried uninstalling and installing the drivers, and when that didn't work, I uninstalled all the drivers as well as Labview and installed Labview first and then the drivers, but I still have no DAQ assistant.

I am connecting a USB-6009.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Yeah, I guess I kinda didn't want to notice the fact that Labview 7.1 was not listed when I installed DAQmx.

Thanks for the help.

I noticed that DAQmx 8.9 supports Labview 7.1, but can't figure out if it supports the NI USB-6009.  Is there a driver that supports both Labview 7.1 and the NI USB-6009?

Thanks

Hi Herman,

DAQmx 8.9 does in fact support the 6009.

The best place to find out if a specific version of DAQmx supports your hardware is in the readme.  Here is a link to the DAQmx 9.0 readme, you can typically find readme links on the driver download page.

Thanks for the help, I found that about every version before 8.9.5 supports the USB-6009.  I ended up downloading version 8.1, which is working perfectly.

Have you downloaded the DAQmx drivers?

Oh I see now, you have posted this question in multiple places with "other" informaation. In one post you say you have downloaded 9.2.2 DAQ and are using LV 8.2

Here is a compatability list, you down loaded the wrong drivers.
