DAQ assistant does not read samples

Hi, Good mornig.

My name is Jorge.

I am engineering student and it is my first time using labview. I Can´t solve the following problem about DAQ and maybe you can help me.

The problem is the DAQ assistant don´t show me the samples acquired when i set the acquisition mode: "continuos samples"

But, as we see in the second image the samples are arriving to the DAQ assistant (Temperature=17,97)

 

 

On the contrary, if i set the acquisition mode: " 1 Sample (On Demand)" everything works perfect.

 

 

If anyone knows how to show samples in the acquisition mode: "Continuos Samples".   I would be very grateful! 🙂

what about some error checking/handling?

Are there any errors in "continuous mode" from your DAQAssistent?

Generic advice: don't stick to the DAQAssistent ExpressVI, try to switch to DAQmx functions as soon as possible…

Hi Jorge,

until now you failed in providing information on:

• your LabVIEW version
• the installed DAQmx version
• the hardware you are using
• attaching the VI

Mind to share all that information?

yes GerdW, of curse:

-my labview version is 21.0 (64bit)

-NI-DAQ mx driver version 21.0.0f164

-I´m using a chassis NI cDAQ-9178 with a data acquisition card NI-9213

i have attached the VI.
