DAQ Configuration problems in LabView: Error message -10401 AI Group Config

I recently installed LabView 6.1, NI-DAQ 7.1, and my A/D board PCI-MIO-16E-4. Everything went smoothly, but every time I try to run a VI, I am greeted with "Error -10401 occurred and AI Group Config."

I have tried every different combination of configurations I can think of, but I can't shake the error message. Can someone please help?

Have you run Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) yet?

In windows, it'll likely be on the desktop or Start Menu->Programs->Nat'l Inst

You need to do this at least once with the device properly installed before using labview to control it.

Yes, I've run MAX and tested the device as documentation suggests. It passes all tests in MAX, but still gives me the error in LabView.

I'm really new to this, but I have a pretty decent computer background. Some other students in the lab here installed the A/D board before installing LabView and the NI-DAQ, so I'll try starting over and putting everything in in the correct order. Hopefully that will do it...I'll let you know, and thanks for your prompt response!
