Customized indicator will not blink

I customized a boolean indicator to display a graphic, in the true state, by
importing a picture element. I now have lost the action of the blinking
attribute.

I believe that once you import a graphic element,
then most of the attributes are disabled. This would
make sense because there is only a single element
to the graphic.
On the other hand if you could import a multilayer graphic
(which I doubt) then you MIGHT be able to change the attributes
(which I also doubt).
