Custom tick marks on dial control?

Hello,

Does anyone have any examples on how to add custom tick marks to the scale of a dial, knob or slider?  I would like to put special tick marks for upper and lower warning and alarm levels on the controls.  Or is there a more elegant solution?

I think easiest way to add decorations on you FP and programmatically control value for alarming

you can use controls with multiple indicators (sliders, knobs, etc) and import custom picture for extra indicators.
