Cursor position in Image indicator

Hello everybody

I have a problem with retreiving the cursor position in an image indicator. The position of the cursor is displayed under the indicator but I can not find a way of extracting the information.
I'am using LV 7.0 with vision toolkit.

Can anybody point me in the right direction?

Thanks

Hi Jaako,

Create a property node for the image indecator. and take the clustar of cursor information.

I made you a small VI demonstrates this.

good luck

Hello Tareq

Thank you for your help The example you supplied does not work for me, when I pop up on the property node there is no Last mouse position property and the VI is not executable (it has a broken wire between the property node and the indicator). It seems that this is a feature added in LV7.1?

Is there another way of getting the cursor position?

Hi,

Sorry for that, but I will describe what to do:

First right click on the image indicator on the block diagram>>create>>property node

left click the property node and select from the drop down menu "last mouse position">>all elements

if you didnt find it, I'm afraid it would be a 7.1 feature

I will install ver. 7 and find out.

sorry again
