Crio 9040 with Ethercat conflict error

Hello,

I work with 4 boxes each have a cRIO NI-9040 and Ethercat Encoder on the ETH1. Each box have the same program only IP address is differents.

It's work well independently but when i connect every box in  the same network with ETH0, i have many errors of status Ethercat...

How is it possible ?

Crio have a link between ETH0 and ETH1 ??

Thanks,

Johan

Hi Johan.

Have you configured ETH0 To communicate using EtherCAT? Setting Up EtherCAT on NI Programmable Controllers - NI

I'm not sure that the first ethernet port on cRIOs has EtherCAT capabilities, I'd make sure that ETH0 is set to EtherCAT in NI MAX as a first step anyway. if this is not an option you'll have to use ETH1.

Kind regards

Hi LabviewFairy,

I confirme, i use ETH1 for Ethercat master but i connect many Crio between them with ETH0 for my HMI.
But when i connect more than 2 crio in ETH0, i have an error on Ethercat ETH 1 network ??

Best regards

Johan
