Create an Autorun file to run an executable install?

I have created several executables, and I have written them to CD's. Generally, I have both the installer and the executable within the CD, but I have problems, with other people installing the program on a PC and they click the something wrong, and they come back saying that the program doesn't work.
My goal is to build a CD with the executable and the installer, and have so that when the CD is inserted int the drive it will automatically start installing the executable. If anyone could help me out, or point me to the right direction, it would be great.

Make a autorun.inf file to the root of cd. The file must have the following text

[autorun]
OPEN=your app.exe
ICON=your app.exe,1
