Does anyone have an example of how to use this function?

Hi Max,

The help for this function is quite clear: provide a filepath and the hotspot position (MacOS requires a 3rd parameter).

What is your real question?

(Btw. the SetBusy and the DestroyCursor functions accept a CursorID input…)

I was not able to use this function and therefore I am asking for an example using .ani or .cur files

Open LabVIEW.  Click "Help" on the menu bar, choose "Find Examples", and search for "Cursor".  Study the examples.

Could you please be more specific what are you asking about?

All you should do when you replace in example file Set Cursor.vi with Create Cursor From File.vi is

- any .png file converted to .cur format using for example https://convertio.co/ online converter

-- used for this example png was 128x128 pixel size
