Copying Virtual Channels Between Computers?

Greetings. I am building an application that requires several dozen I/O
signals, which I have organized by naming a virtual channel for each.
Development, however, is spreading to multiple systems. The two computers
are identical in configuration, and I'd like to avoid the time-consuming
(and error-prone) process of hand-defining all the virtual channels on the
second machine.

Although the "Channel Wizard" looks and feels like an instance of NT
Explorer, there does not seem to be any provision for moving or copying
channel definitions among computers on a network. I suspect I may be able
to accomplish this by tracking down the correct configuration files, but I
have no idea where to look or what to look for.

Any insight would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

If you're using Measurement & Automation explorer, you can see where the NI-DAQ
configuration file is saved by selecting Save As.. in the File menu. You
can save the file to another networked computer (or common server if you
want just one shared configuration for both)and use Open.. in the File menu
to get to it from the other computer. I don't know if you can selectively
save just the virtual channels. It brings the entire hardware configuration
as well.

Hope this helps.
