Convert from 8.0 to 7.1?

Hi Mila!

Ravens Fan is correct.  You can reinstall LV 8.6 without "wasting" a license.  As far as the order of installation, you can install LV 7.1, while LV 8.6 is installed.  However, do not install the drivers that come with LV 7.1. Instead, repair the drivers for LV 8.6.  I hope this helps!

I had 7.1 installed on my computer and then installed 8.2 in another folder.

Both work OK but they don't run well together since I think they may use each others drivers by accident.. Also I reset the computer before switching between them.

If I have both 7.1 and 8.5 installed on my computer, how can I convert a .vi from 8.5 to 7.1??

You can't. The only version of LabVIEW that can save to 7.1 is 8.0.
