Convert Between Versions?

Hi all;

Here at the University I have access to three different versions of
Labview (Windows): 3.0, 3.1, and 4.0. Is there any (simple) way to convert
vi's created on the 4.0 machine to run on the earlier versions?

many thanks;

The easiest way is to update the other machines to use a later version
of LV. As with most apps, later versions have more features and are
generally more polished. Because LV source code is a binary format, it
is difficult to save for various versions. The latest versions of LV,
support limited saving for a previous version, and will be extended, but
nothing like this exists in LV until version 5.1.
