Controlling the Speed of DC Motor for Desired output Flow using PID Control

Hi...

I am Beginner in PID Control using LabVIEW. I want to drive DC motor for desired output flow. For Example if flow is 15LPM , then motor should run at speed of desired 15lpm output flow.here I'm using AO card to control motor speed and Flow FB From Flow meter.

LabVIEW comes with PID example VIs (when oyu have the PID toolkit installed). Have you looked at them?

Wikipedia explains PID controls with lot of text and images. Have you read those articles to get the basics of PID control? Do you know how to set PID parameters (atleast with an initial guess)?
