Controlling a power supply with LabVIEW 8.2.

You can try using the plain  PID.vi   for your application.  There are a few examples on how to use the PID block. (Help - Find Examples - Toolkits and Modules - PID Control - PID).
I am attaching one of them in this post.  There is a plant simulator block that would be your power supply in your case. Notice the output range of the PID block is not wired, it is using the default -100 to 100,   you can adjust this to the way you are interfacing your power supply. Many applications use 0-100 output range which represents percentage, say the opening of a valve, a PMW signal, etc. You can see that output as the green line on the graph.
