I do not have another version. From what I remember I am seeing this issue when copying in examples form the example finder. I copied in the Voltage-Continuous Output example at the bottom of my main VI. This time none of the controls or the graph show up on my front panel. I think this is what I was refering to. I do not need the example so I am going to delete it back out and go on. I appreciate you looking into it though.

I'm guessing what is happening here is the controls are added on the first pane but not in the visible part. If you remove all your splitters (temporarily), then bring up the navigation window (CTRL+Shift+N) you'll see you have a bunch of controls from the example wayyyyy off to the lower left.
There are some solutions none of which are very easy to use, there probably should be some kind of scripting tool to find and move controls to a more useful location when they are added from a paste operation.

The real issue is LabVIEW's misguided attempt to be helpful.
I doubt that they really are attempting to make things more difficult for us, but it sure seems that way sometimes.
I just had it place a control UNDER a graphic, thank you very much.
Instead of spending all that effort trying to find an "intelligent" spot for it, just put the dang thing on top of everything else,. in the center of the window, wherever the window is scrolled.
It's easy for me to find, and I'll put it where I want it.

Yes, fine. I just kudoed that idea from 2010 - That's the one to put it over the top - I'm sure they'll get right on that.
There are still ten days before LV2015, right?
