Configure DAQ Buffer Size

Hi all,

I built a simple test program to change the DAQmx buffer size. While testing it using the DAQ simulator, I noticed that the buffer size somehow changed the acquired data. I expected them to be similar, but they are not. The program and the test results are attached, please let me know what did I do incorrectly here.

Thank you very much.

I think you are just looking at a coincidence based on when you stopped the VI.  Change your graph to a Chart and you will see the same sine wave.

But in general, you should not need to mess around with the buffer size when in continuous mode.  Your DAQ loop should be set up to keep up.  That is the only long-term solution.  Producer/Consumer should be common-place with DAQ systems.

There are only two ways to tell somebody thanks: Kudos and Marked Solutions
