Comparing matrix elements

Solved!
Go to solution

Hello GerdW,

Thank you for taking the time to show me your block diagram, this is exactly what I am looking for.  Clearly I need to review the array exercises.  I have been learning mostly by using the help menu and studying diagrams from this site.  My professor like to hand out assignments without much help.  I appreciate everyone's help!

The triangular matrix typically includes the diagonal, unless you want a strictly triangular matrix. Do you?

There are many ways to do this. Try to find at least five different ways. 😄

Here's one simple alternative, no array primitives needed. 🙂

altenbach,

Thanks for clearing up the differences between triangular matrices.  I reviewed the links and yes, technically I am looking for the strictly upper triangular matrix.  It's been a while since I took linear algebra! Smiley Very Happy  I look forward approaching this solution multiple ways and sharpening my labview skills!  I'll be sure to reference everyone that helped in my lab report. Smiley Happy
