Closing a Program (explorer.exe)

Hi there ,

Does anyone know how do I close a program from LabView.

I need to close explorer.exe which is not called by Labview. I am using LabView7.0 Win XP.

Have a look at this little utility:  http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/nircmd.html

I've not used it before.  But it looks like it might be perfect for what you need.

As another option, you can try looking for a library called LVWUtil32. It includes a VI called Quit Application, which sends a quit message to whatever window you choose.
