Closing Read Only VIs slow

Hi, I have a weird behavior on some of our PCs.

We changed our TortioseSVN setting for the LabView folder to "Needs-lock", which essentially makes all LV files read-only unless you want to change it. Works fine on most of our systems.

But on a few PCs, the VIs take about 5 seconds to close, while freezing only LabView. Windows still responding. CPU/Ram usage is below 60%.

Running the VIs works fine.

Any Ideas what would cause this?

We use LabVIEW 2020 32b.

I'm guessing some things want to recompile but can't?
