Clear Output when not running

Solved!
Go to solution

I am running LabView 8.6 with USB-6525 modules. Is there a way to automatically "Clear" or set the Outputs to False when the VI is Stopped? I know I could set them all to false after the Stop button from my while loop is pressed but it would be nice to automatically do this.

Thank You,

Jason

No.  You will have to set them to false before your VI actually ends.

On a related note, you can set the startup state of the lines in Measurement & Automation Explorer by right clicking on the device and going to Properties.

Hi Jeff -

When I right click on the USB-6525 in MAX the PROPERTIES is greyed out so I can't select anything.

Are you running your application or test panel at the time? What version of the DAQmx driver are you using?

No, I am not running anything else. I even rebooted the computer and went right to MAX.

LabView v.8.6

MAX v.4.5

NI-DAQmx v.8.8

It turns out this is something that was added in DAQmx 8.9 (it points out in the README).

You can download the latest DAQmx driver here.
