Changing value from 2 sources...

Hi there,
I'm creating a VI where I want a knob and a direct entry able to control the same value. But the text box also has to display the value as the knob moves. For instance, if I wanted to set a value of 500, I could turn the knob to 500 and it would display in the text box OR I could just enter 500 in the text box and it would reflect that value on the knob. Is there a way I can do this? If posting VI's, could u save them in 6.0 format? Thanks.

Right click on the knob and select Visible Items>Digital Display. That does exactly what you want with the added benefit that you don't have to write any extra code and you don't have to worry about a user entering a non-numeric value.
