Changing ring programmatically

Hello everyone,

in my little program here I want to get certain strings in the ringselector indicated by a boolean element called channel.

A possibilty out of many:

If I select channel 1, 2 and 4 should be on and 3 off, I want that in the ring channel 1, 2 and 4 only can be selected and also that there are only 3 selection items in this ring. The true case works fine but the false case not really. I don't know how I can delete the not selected channel and also get the certain display in the ring.

I hope anyone can help me.
