Change ring controller dynamically?

Hey people how to change the ring controller strings dynamically?
I want to chane the strings of the ring controller in run time. i.e, If i give to numeric controller 4, the ring controller should show 1,2,3,4.
Like this if i give 2, it should show 1,2 only.
How do you do it?
Take a look at this VI.
Help, damn I am not able to figure it out.

Your VI really needs a lot of cleanup. There is no reason to use any locals at all and I don't see why you don't place the code inside the event structure.

Yeah I still don't get it about the locals.
The thing is I will try and then tell whether I am gettinf it or not!
About the  case structure that also  I will try.
