Change X-axis of a XY-Graph programatically

Hello

In my project The user need to see the Graph that display (force-distance) or (force-time(relative time))

 i'm using build XY Graph.

as i see here i change the display format .

Create»Property Node»X Scale»Display Format»Format

 and set the Display format like this :

and The graph is exactly what i need.

but when i change format to number "0" for Decimal value(to displaying distance ) and then back to relative time 

it's not longer in relative time display format (befor reached 1 minute )

how can i set the display format property in program ?
