Can't use Parallel port on WinXP with Labview

What is needed to use the Parallel port con WinXP with Labview??
I have tryed Access Parallel Port with VISA.llb and Parallel Port Write.vi
I use Labview SE 6i, I have downloaded correctly AccessHW.dll, updated visa260full.exe, changed the Compatibility with Win98 of LabVIEW.exe and nothing happens, sometimes errors, or sometimes nothing...

Have you tired checking the settings in the BIOS? VISA and accesshw should have worked. It may be that the port is disabled,using a unusual mode, or a different address.

In windows 98 / labview 5.1.1 you have to set in your labview.ini:

labview.serialDevices=COM1;COM2;COM3;COM4;LPT1;LPT2

after that you can use the parallel port with the serial port VI's
