Can't connect shared variable engine

HI All,

LabVIEW 2009  + DSC

We have one test laptop on our local network. Other developers read values of some variables from that laptop. Now we have a new developer and computer. When we try to browse test laptop from network it can be found but we can't see any libraries there. This is done by using distributed system manager. PING is ok, and there is "no" firewall or virusradars. Other developers can connect that laptop well and there is no problems. Does anyone have good advices to solve this issue?

re-installation of what? I have a similar issue, can connect a PC on a network, see it, ping it and have all the firewalle exceptions I could find for NI softwares, still variables are not seen remotely (the PC itslef I can see e.g. from the Distribute System Manager).

Any suggestion?
