I'm trying to add a packed project library to my package but it doesn't show up as source file. This seems like a huge oversight if someone wanted to use lvlibps for a plugin-type architecture and use NI Package Manager to distribute the plugins.
any thoughts?

The following links has a lot of good information as to both packed project libraries and plug-in architecture:

Thanks for the info on PPLs. They don't seem to have anything to do with the issue however. Maybe you can help me understand, or where specifically it shows, how I can add a .lvlibp to a Package using NI Package Builder in LV 2014?
Thanks,

You can't currently add a PPL to a package using the LabVIEW Package Builder Addon. We will add support for them in its next update.

The new version of the LabVIEW Package Builder in NIPM now supports building packages that include package project libraries.
