Can I make color cutaway of model?

Hi guys!

I want to make part of 3D Model that is being cliped to appear different color, can you help me out, please.

Here is how it should look like and my current VI, which clips the model (I've tried to do this by seting material but it didn't work).

I have not played with the 3D image for quite a while but I seem to recall it handled the reference while in an odd fashion. What happens if you sequence the refernce through all of you property nodes BEFORE connecting to the terminal?

Isn't that, how the VI is currently working?
I mean sorry if I got this wrong but the reference is used to set up planes and then passed to the terminal.
