Calling a Labview DLL from another program made in e.g. C++, C#, J#

I have got some questions about DLLs generated in Labview.

Is it possible to call a Labview dll from another program e.g made in C++, C#, J# ?

Do you need to have the Labview run-time engine installed when, if possible, calling DLLs from another prgram?

You can and yes you do need the runtime engine installed. There is a couple of knowledge base articles about doing it. Do a search on the KB.
