I saw this issue at some point and was able to work around it by setting the webbrowser2 URL to "about:blank" at the end of my LabVIEW code, then making sure to save the VI after running it to save that location as the last used location. In order for this to work it seems that I had to also make some other minor change to the VI at the same time so it would be marked as modified (the * in the title bar) and would save properly.
