Don't use automatic scaling.  It doesn't work well and is very difficult to make it so it works right.

Are you trying to make this work on one specific screen or make it adaptable to multiple different screens that have multiple different resolutions.

Just develop your VI so that it is full screen and none of those bars and menus show except for your own.  If your window has to be full size, then you shouldn't have to worry about a window resizing!

Semi related- if I have 4 Booleans but want 3 to be made false if one is made true ... how would I set that up?

I fiddled with case structure and logical operators but can't get anywhere

Not really related at all.

What you are talking about are called radio buttons.  They are on the boolean palette.
