Bluetooth example in labview 8.6 doesn't work

I am using the bluetooth client/server example with labview 8.6. The severer reads my bluetooth adress but the client won't connect (error 59) , the adress and channel i typed into the client are correct, i am using vista and don't know if this is the issue.

Any ideas cheers?

Hi,

The build in support that LabVIEW has for Bluetooth only supports the native Microsoft Bluetooth and a limited set of hardware. For example, if you have a dell preloaded with the Toshiba drivers for Bluetooth, LabVIEW will not detect your hardware and have similar issues to what you are having.

Hello Zac,

I hope you are doing fine. Could  you please specify what hardware are you using? Basically error 59 means that the network is down, unreachable, or has been reset.

Please have a look at the following forum post as well
