Basic serial write and read

I'm back at a computer with LabVIEW and I see that you are sending \r\n after the command. What number do you get on the indicator connected to the Bytes at Port property node?

[Edit: And did you try putting a delay after the serial port configuration?]

You cannot send one bit at a time. What did you actually do?
