BUG - LabVIEW 8.6.1f1 event duplication

Sorry for the confusion; I wasn't very clear.

I have seen this several times since I upgraded to 8.6.1f1, but cannot swear it doesn't exist in 8.6 or 8.6.1.

It does exist in 8.6 or 8.6.1 (and previous).  This patch did not fix it, and did not claim to.  My purpose in posting was to reassure customers that we did not introduce a bug in 8.6.1f1*.

*At the top of my Google search for "8.6.1f1" was "BUG - LabVIEW 8.6.1f1 event duplication🙂

You said that you were able to reproduce it in 8.5.  I found that I was NOT able to reproduce it in 8.5.1.  Can you confirm that you were able to reproduce in 8.5 and was it the original or the .1 version?

Can anyone else confirm in 8.5 or 8.5.1 whether they can reproduce or not?

It does appear that in 8.5.1 the Value Change event duplication appears to be correct.  There are however other event types such as the mouse down? filter event which has invalid parameters after using duplicate event.  So the CAR applies to duplicate event, not specifically to duplicate value change event.

Hope this helps,
