Automatically Detecting the File format

Hi All,

When we double click a *.vi, it automatically gets opened in LabVIEW application. I wish i use this functionality to load a configuration file in an exe i built in labVIEW.

The functionality is

1. The exe when runs creates a configuration file (user defined format) containing the configuration details. 

2. After closing exe, when i double the configuration file ( user defined format), it must automatically open the exe with the configuration file loaded.

Do any one know how to do this?
