Automatic Running

Can you set labview to run by it self a set time period for example 8 am - 12 pm from Monday to Friday with out having someone start the program everyday?

You could either have your program run constantly but only take any action between specified times by using one of the Get Date/Time functions.

Alternatively if you're running Windows you could use Task Scheduler to run your application at a specified time each day. (i.e. Start >  Accessories > System Tools > Task Scheduler)
