Arbitrary waveform

Solved!
Go to solution

Hi,
I am quite new in labview and I need to create an arbitrary waveform from CSV file. I want to download it into my waveform generator Agilent 33500B Series. I read the service guide and tried to do it with FUNC:ARB commands.

Can anyone offer any advice as to what we might be doing wrong.

Many thanks in advance for any suggestions.

No - you forgot to attach your VI…

Is there a device driver for this Agilent device and does it support uploading ArbWaveforms?

Best regards,
GerdW

Yes it support uploading ArbWaveforms. My device is Agilent 33519B. I want to create a user defined waveform from CSV file which contains only one columm of data. My VI. is very simple. I found some command which helped my open an existing file from my divece. And now a need to create a new arb.
Many thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Hi kajo,

please read the manual of your device.

I suggest to read about the "MMEMory: DOWNload: DATA" command to learn how to download data from host PC to your device…

Best regards,
GerdW
