After installing an application that was created using the Application Builder

I extracted this from the KB article. "I have recently updated LabVIEW from 7.1 to version 7.1.1."

I'm not working with LabVIEW 7.1.1.

But anyway. All of this is happening on my development computer. It has LabVIEW 7.1 and DAQmx8.0.

When I first loaded DAQmx I no longer had a 7.1 Run Time engine. It was changed to 7.1.1.

Yes, and still this is what the KB article talks about...

KB excerpt 1: "The VI that the executable was built from works fine on this machine but the stand-alone executable does not." Remember: built before upgrade, i.e. in 7.1!

KB excerpt 2: "If the installer is created from LabVIEW 7.1 and then run on a machine with LabVIEW Run-Time Engine 7.1.1 it will corrupt the already installed Run-Time Engine. The Run-Time Engine can be repaired as described above."
