Adding Shared Variables to an Existing Project

Hi All,

I am pretty new to this so please bear with me. I have a Deployed Project with several Client VI's. I would like to add a new Shared Variable to the project but I am unsure of how to add a single Shared Variable for fear of destroying my work so far. Can anyone tell me

1 Can this now be done.

2 The steps needed to complete this

Hi Dessie,

Then you should start to create a new SCC (SourceCodeControl) entry/revision of your code base before doing any changes to the code! Really! (Or atleast create a new backup in a safe place.)

For "newbies" there is a lot of (free) training material to learn LabVIEW…

1. Yes.

2. Right-click the "my computer" entry in the project and select "New->Variable"…
