ActiveX & PrintCapture

Hello all,

I am interested in having my LabVIEW programs control another program entitled "Printcapture" (www.printcapture.com). This program can save screen dumps from gpib equipped instruments.

I have already had experience using automation with Microsoft Excel. However, this was helped by using the example vi's.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can go about opening another program, and executing commands in it, via LabVIEW?

Thank you!

I took a look at it, and it seems that it doesn't have an activeX interface. And also it seems that it even does not support commandline parameters.

The last thing which i know how you could control the programm is simulating user input. But thats no easy task.
I know a tool, which can do this for you and which is controlable via other programms: "Automate", but it cost about $500.

(This is no advertisment, just for help): Link was googled:
