Activate NI Community Edition Software

Hello,

I am trying to activate LabVIEW Community Edition through my MyNI account by following the steps in the following link: https://knowledge.ni.com/KnowledgeArticleDetails?id=kA03q000000ww6wCAA&l=es-MX

However, when I reach the step where the license verification is carried out (Check my account for licenses), I receive a message that there are no licenses linked to the NI account. I have logged in to the Activation Wizard with the same account that I use to download the software, that is, I have downloaded the Community Edition and tried to activate it using the same ni.com login, but without success.

How can I solve this? For now, it has been activated in a 45-day trial mode.

Can you provide a screenshot of your NI License Manager on the Local Licenses tab?

I believe the OP said that they already did that in the first message.  Activating Community Edition has always been a pain.  I wonder if it is that way for all the subscription licenses.

I feel like Community Edition was the Guinea Pig for subscription licenses, as I recall it was the first use them.  (Even though it was free, you still had to renew them.)

Download the 2023 version with the same account (that downloads the 2024). After that, you should be able to do the software activation

I get the same error with 2023. If the LabVIEW Community Edition is free why is it asking for a license? Where do I get the free license?
